kEvent Details

Tea for Two Hundred celebrates its 20th anniversary with Honorary Chair Sheila Nevins, President of HBO Documentary Films and author. Sheila will be signing and reading excerpts from her recently published, highly acclaimed book "You Don’t Look Your Age and Other Fairy Tales". Special guest, American playwright Larry Kramer, author and public health advocate will be interviewing Sheila on stage, as well as signing copies of his historic and controversial satirical novel "Faggots". Home Town Hero, Kirsten Peckerman, is a Washington resident and dedicated conservationist.

The evening will be filled with delicious food, wonderful music provided by Christine Ohlman (Saturday Night Live Band vocalist), a hat contest and a silent auction full of amazing prizes!

The garden party benefit will be held in the gardens of Gael Hammer and Gary Goodwin's Washington home. Suggested attire is Summer White!

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Gunn Historical Museum and Interfaith AIDS Ministry of Greater Danbury.
