The Kent Memorial Library is pleased to announce a new series on healthcare “Timely Topics in Healthcare.” This four-part series will be presented by Prism Health Advocates of Kent, founded by Deborah M Bain, RN BSN. Prism Health Advocates is a consulting firm specializing in helping patients and families navigate the healthcare system. The topics in this series are:
Saturday, October 28, 2:30 p.m. Diabetes: Our Journey to Our Health presented by Anne Bernardin, Simple Organizing Solutions of Bondsville, MA.
Saturday, December 2, 2:30 p.m. Medicare Fraud and Abuse and Scams presented by Amanda Halle, Western CT Area on Aging and a CHOICES counselor assisting individuals to navigate the Medicare maze.
